Known as one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in Indonesia, The Bintan Golf Challenge will be held again on September 16-17, 2023.
This year marks the third edition of the event, following
the success of the first edition at the Bali Golf Challenge on September 25-26,
2021, and the second edition at the Belitung Golf Challenge on July 1-2, 2022.
This golf tournament is organized by Pondok Indah Golf and
competes for the Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy Cup.
Apart from enhancing sports tourism activities in Indonesia,
The Bintan Golf Challenge is also expected to foster business networking
between inventors and investors, support the creative economy's recovery in
Indonesia, and increase public interest, particularly in the field of golf.

This year, The Bintan Golf Challenge will be held at the Ria Bintan Golf Club, a golf venue in the Riau Islands Province that has consistently been recognized as the best golf course in Asia and Indonesia.
It has hosted various regional events, including the annual
Ria Bintan Open.
Built in 1998, the Ria Bintan Golf Club has become one of
the best golf sports tourism destinations in Asia, featuring two beautiful golf
courses designed by golf legend Gary Player.
The 18-hole Ocean Course offers stunning views of the South
China Sea, while the 9-hole Forest Course is nestled in lush forests,
challenging golfers with various bunkers and fairways.
In 2009, the Ria Bintan Golf Club became the first golf
course in Indonesia to receive Audubon International Classic and Cooperative
Sanctuary certification from the renowned environmental organization Audubon
